Mark Antony is a time travel film directed by Adhik Ravichandran, featuring a unique story, therapy, staging, acting and aggressive retro visuals and follows Mark, the son of the late gangster Antony, who discovers a time machine his garage and learns about his father's past.
The film is a blend of gangster drama and comedy, with SJ Surya’s eccentric performance keeping the audience engaged throughout. The director gives the film a perfect mood, with a great background score and bright lighting to go along with it. The ending is a mess, with Antony once again entering towards the end. Vishal and Surya’s performances are good, and Ritu Varma delivers what is expected from her character despite lack of screen time. While not a great film, Mark Antony is a refreshing entertainer that delivers on what it promises.
