Sattam En Kayil is a thriller directed by Chachhi and starring Sathish, following Gowtham (Sathish) who accidentally kills a motorcyclist and hides the body in his car trunk. The film's core revolves around the interplay between two ego-driven cops, Inspector Basha (Pavel Navageethan) and Nagaraj (Ajay Raj), who are ruthless and power-tripping.

The film's limited setting adds suspense, and the on-screen rivalry between Navageethan and Raj adds a spark. However, the plot developments often feel too handy, and the limited scope wears thin after a while. The BGM is unrelenting, and the backstory could have been cleverly woven into the proceedings. Despite these issues, Sattam En Kayil is a solid thriller and a good way to kill a couple of hours.
