GOAT is Venkat Prabhu's film in which Vijay is seen as both the hero and the villain. 

The story follows MS Gandhi, a skilled officer from the Special Anti-Terrorism Squad (SATS), a family man who hides his business from his wife. after an adverse event He becomes an immigration officer and meets his long-suffering son Jeevan and baby Vijay. 

The film follows a familiar pattern. which has an easily predictable narrative The action sequences are average. But the confrontation of young and senior winners is fascinating. Director Venkat Prabhu takes advantage of Vijay's trademark charm and anti-aging technology to make him a compelling villain. The film has a throwback look and dialogues to Vijay and Venkat Prabhu's Mankatha. The music is good but the special number with Trisha is disappointing. The cinematography is average, with VFX doing the heavy lifting on most of the outdoor locations. GOAT is a simple watch for film buffs. But it is a famous watch for die-hard fans.
