Indian 2 is a sequel to the original Indian, which follows a freedom fighter who keeps his eye out for corruption. 

When the character insists on cleaning other people’s homes, the film explores the consequences. However, director Shankar’s approach lacks wit and humour, leaving the film feeling empty and lacking in emotional connection. The story begins with YouTubers exposing corruption and urging young people to expose their cheating friends. 

The film also lacks any emotional connection, focusing on visual excess and tropes from previous films. The plot of the film could have focused more on personal stories and an internal story, instead of going for the pan-Indian one.
