Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil is a comedy drama directed by Vipin Das, about the marriage of Vinuram Chandran (Basil Joseph). 

The film follows Vinu's journey from heartbreak to marriage, where his future father-in-law Anandan (Prithviraj Sukumaran) advises him to forget his ex-lover Parvati and marry sister Anjali (Aneshwara Rajan) though Vinu's past misdeeds haunt her before her marriage and it's shocking revelation puts their relationship in jeopardy. The film has a brilliant cast including Basil Joseph, Nikhila Vimal and Aneshwara Rajan, who give strong performances. Music director Ankit Menon combines new age music with traditional songs to create the film. Guruvayor Ambalanadayil is a comedic riot with excellent performances, making it a family-friendly film.
