Directed by Innasi Pandiyan, Diary is a supernatural thriller that follows the lives of several characters on an accidental journey. 

Following Waradha, a deputy trainer, the film shows an unsolved case involving a murdered honeymoon couple. With the help of another officer Pavithra, he tries to unravel the mystery. The film begins as an investigative piece and ends with fate, emotional loss and the supernatural. The emotional side of the finale sequence is clear and believable, Arulnithi was a realistic performance and excellently performed by Pavithra Marimuthu. The film’s cinematography and background score contribute to an engaging mood, making for an entertaining read with thought-provoking stories. However, some pages were easy to skip.
