Demonte Colony is a horror film directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, about four lead characters who find a dilapidated castle where a Portuguese lord murders his servants to be a refreshing departure in horror comedy, which no emotions are involved. 

The film is visually appealing, with room contrasts and interesting angles. But it lacks real fear, and it lacks convincing answers to questions like why evil spirits seek them out and good spirits communicate with them through a Ouija board.
