"The Bikeriders" is a film directed by Jeff Nichols that captures the essence of a particular era through a portrait of a man's life and culture he represents The film begins with a scene in which two older men approach a biker named Benny side requires him to do remove his collar or from the bar. However, Nichols’ film fails to capture the essence of the man at the center of the subculture. Instead, it focuses on outsiders like Cathy (Jodie Comer), who admires Benny’s independence and honesty.

"The Bikeriders" explores the biker culture of the early 1950s, focusing on the Vandals, a group of young men who grow from dorks to clubs with chapters in the Midwest The tension between male metal masculinity and identity silently between their shadowy bottoms, caught on film. But with soldiers returning home from the Vietnam War and a violent youth culture, the film struggles to create a chart of its appeal. The Vietnam War is also scripted, and the second half of the film is too detailed and unfocused, failing to lament the time it aims to recreate.
