Garuden picks up three friends, Aadhi, Karuna and Sokkan, who betray their father, Minister Thangapandi, to steal a large plot of land from the Kombaiammam temple The graphic violence adds to the intensity of the film, but the film loses its impact. 

Suri’s performance as Sokkan provides an emotional highlight, while Sasikumar and Unni Mukundan give excellent performances. The film is suitable for those who enjoy emotional rural action.
