Set over the course of a single night, Blackout aims to be a fast-paced dark comedy, but its quirky script and over-packaging hinder its possibilities as it follows crime reporter Lenny D' Souza as he flees into the chaotic night clutching his chest, a corpse and unlikely companions. 

The film’s odd script and overstffed story make it repetitive and lacking in focus. Despite the film’s flaws, Vikrant Massey gives a commendable performance as Lenny, while Sunil Grover’s character arc feels forced. It brings in some laughs through one-liners and character antics, but is ultimately held back by an overly serious script.
