Manjummel Boys is a thrilling survival film with excellent visuals, writing, characterization, editing and acting. It sets a decades-old setting and honestly portrays the characters. The story flows smoothly, ensuring that no one is forgotten and their emotions are present. 

The rescue sequence isn't long enough, but the characters and the audience are left in shock. The acting and cinematography are exceptional, with characters like Deepak Parambol and Soubin in the first act acting unexpectedly. The latter begins with a transition, using child actors to manipulate the mental state of its characters. The work done on the film's editing sequences is commendable, and the background music adds to the suspense of the film without being overly dramatic. Manjummel Boys is worth repeated viewings and a great addition to the Malayalam live cinema scene.
