Premlu is Girish A.D. 's fresh and hilarious film, which combines elements of his earlier films Thanneer Mathan Dinangal and Super Sharanya. The film is about a down-to-earth and working-class hero, Sachin (Naslen), who finds a kindred spirit in Jason from Thannir Mathan… or Sharanya.
The film features a defiant Aadhi and a feisty IT professional, Reenu. Despite the similarities, Premalu continues to innovate by adapting and implementing the same setting. The screenplay co-written by Girish and Kiran Josy ensures that there is not a dull moment, with sparkling chemistry between Sachin, Reenu and Amal Davis, a staple of situational comedy At 156 minutes, Premlu is longer than it is the film is frequently made, but it makes up for its length by a catchy story and lovely visuals.
